Just Missing Out Scheme
The Just Missing Out Scheme provides food and fuel vouchers worth £200, and is a response to the government’s change to the Winter Fuel Payment, where only those eligible for Pension Credit continue to get the financial support.
While a number of people have come forward, there are many more who could be receiving this help.
The scheme has been extended by another week to Friday 7 March in order to welcome in as many as possible.
KCC is running this in conjunction with Citizens Advice and they are ready to take a call to guide you through the process. Call 0300 304 8003 and they guarantee you will be talking to a human being.
